Hey, I’m Sam.

I’m a Street and Travel Photographer based in London.

I didn't grow up with a camera in my hand. I actually started back in 2020 just to get out of the house and break up the monotony of lockdown. I picked up a camera to document the quiet streets, and I didn't expect it to take over my life. But once I started seeing the world through a lens, I couldn't really stop.

These days, I shoot exclusively with a Leica Q3, spending most of my time hunting for high-contrast light and shadow. My approach is "scene-first"—I’m not chasing people down the street. Instead, I find the geometry, the architecture, and the atmosphere, and then I wait for the right subject to walk into the frame. It’s a game of patience, looking for the quiet moments inside the chaos of the city.

It’s gone a bit further than just a hobby now. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work recognized as a finalist in international competitions in the UK and Rome. I also self-publish my own Zines and run street photography workshops here in London to help others find their own eye.
